Mapping and Locating

cmi can provide specified services to map, locate and survey cable lines before, during and after construction projects are underway. 

Our mapping and red-lining personnel have extensive knowledge in reading construction drawings for placement of fiber optic cable and the ability to update drawings for job required specifications.  We use the most up to date equipment by Metro-tech and other vendors, and we can accurately locate underground utilities.  This expertise aided CMI in a recently completed a long haul job for Sprint in which a fiber build of six ducts over 400 miles (Jacksonville, FL,  to Pensacola, FL) was completed with no damage to the client's cable.
